Headed to MD Anderson

Dale's first appointment with MD Anderson is on Wednesday, Nov. 21st at 8am.

His appointment will be with Dr. Anne Tsao (see page 3 of http://www.mdanderson.org/pdf/thnmo_protocolreview0405.pdf)

Dr. Tsao is a Thoracic Medical Oncologist.

Dale's appointment is in the Clark Clinic at MD Anderson.

We are thankful to get a quick appointment. His scheduler had a cancellation and offered us the quick time slot!

Jackie and Dale will drive back to Pearland on Tuesday afternoon.

Side note: I contacted Dr. Pickett's office in Victoria today. Dr. Pickett will be back from vacation on Nov. 28th. (Dale has his rescheduled appointment that day) His office is currently scheduling surgeries for the first week in December.

Our plan is to still have Thanksgiving in Victoria on Friday!

I have already lost 2 comments in cyberspace, guess I am not sure how this works but will try again and hopefully perservere, or however you spell that word. Just wanted to let you know we will be thinking of you on Wednesday as we have been doing daily. You are in our prayers and thoughts and as Mom would say take it one day at a time. You can lick this thing. Vicki just sent me this address and I will check it daily from now on.
Love,
Jo Beth

Hi,
I'm just a stranger from cyberspace. I have a google alert for any web publications that feature Anne Tsao and that is how I found your site. Dr. Tsao was my mother's oncologist. She is wonderful, intelligent and talented beyond belief and is the sole reason why my very ill mother lived so much longer than anyone could have ever expected. Dont worry if you feel that she seems a little harsh at your first appointment (we did), she proved to be very warm and kind throughout. My mom always said that she prayed for all of Dr. Tsao's patients and as someone who's been where you are, I will keep you and your family in my prayers as well. Stay strong.

Thanks for the kind words and prayers from stacey. I thought that was awesome for you to respond about Dr. Tsao and your comments about how your mother prayed for her other patients. We appreciate all the prayers for my Uncle Dale.

I am praying for you and thinking of you every day. I have been sending the blogs to Renda and JoBeth. Tried to coment several times with no success but I will try again since JoBeth got it to go through cyberspace. Just remember you can do anything through Christ who strengthens you daily. Hang in there and we are all cheering for your health. You are my hero and we are all here for you. Please let us know what we can do to help besides our love and support. I love you. Vicki
