Father's Day approaches....
It's agonizing to talk in the past tense about a person who knew me through and through, nurturing and supporting all my dreams throughout my entire life. I'm trying to focus on being grateful to have had so many years with Dad, instead of being confounded by the thought of the rest of my life without him.

I was touched by your post about being without your dad.
I'm sure you have passed through some hard days. But, I know that you will see him again. He will be the same man you knew and loved and you will still be grateful to him for the wonderful father that he was to you...
I don't usually post comments on blogs of those whom I am unacquainted, but thanks for sharing a bit of the love you have for your father with me today.
I hope you have a marvelous Father's Day thinking about the blessing that your father was to you.
